Behind the Curtain
Away from the stage, Paul is driven by curiosity—about people, places, and the stories that shape us. A lifelong musician, he began as a percussionist at fourteen and has since played across a wide range of styles and settings, from marching bands and jazz ensembles to pit orchestras and rock bands. Music remains a constant creative outlet, occasionally finding its way into his work onstage.
Travel is another essential part of his life and artistic practice. Experiencing different cultures firsthand deepens his understanding of human behavior, history, and connection—fuel that informs his acting as much as any rehearsal room. Whether performing or exploring, Paul is continually drawn to the question of why we are who we are, and how the past echoes through the present.
